After our collaboration on "Mountains of Gold" and "Everything We Stand For" I sent Nick a new draft for a lovely acoustic piece with a vivid folk scent. I asked if he liked it and we decided to focus on that audio. I promised to develop the structure and e-mail him isolated guitar mock-ups...
But then all of a sudden I dug out an old project of mine which I never finished due to different reasons, but mainly because I didn't have enough skill back then and an electric guitar monster that could play the part. So Nick was like: "Whoa! I gotta get on the ball! I'd love to record that!" Then as usually I received his doubletracks and continued working on the project. Hopefully right now it's finally good enough for you to hear it. We're happy to present to you "Combat".
